Connecting with Trusted Contacts

If you’ve been following along with my journey, you might be wondering how you can get your own Lost Villa and be connected to my trusted contacts. Well, the good news is that I have a whole series of construction vlogs and building tips that you can watch to get a glimpse into the process. Building your dream villa is not just about the construction itself, but also about creating a social media empire. I’ll be sharing all my secrets and strategies with you, so stay tuned!

Showcasing the Beauty of Bali

One of the things that I absolutely love about this project is the opportunity to showcase the beauty of Bali. In every video, I try to capture the stunning landscapes, the vibrant culture, and the unique charm of this island paradise. Bali is the perfect location for a dream villa, and I want to inspire others to consider this as their own slice of paradise.

Construction Documentation and Building Tips

As part of this series, I’ll be providing construction documentation and sharing valuable building tips. Whether you’re planning to build your own villa or just curious about the process, I want to give you all the information you need to make informed decisions. From budgeting to design choices, I’ll cover it all.

Building a Bali Villa and Social Media Empire

Building a villa in Bali is not just about the physical construction. It’s also about creating a social media empire. I’ve learned a lot along the way about how to grow my online presence and turn it into a successful business. I’ll be sharing my strategies, tips, and insights, so you can do the same.

Use of Steel Beams

One of the key elements in the construction of my dream villa is the use of steel beams. These beams provide strength and stability to the structure, ensuring its safety and longevity. They also allow for open, spacious interiors and large openings for windows and sliding components. I’m amazed at the strength and precision required to lift and place these beams, and I can’t wait to see the finished result.

Installation of Windows and Sliding Components

Speaking of windows and sliding components, I’ve put a lot of thought into their selection and installation. I want my villa to have a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing for plenty of natural light and fresh air. I’ve been working closely with a company called Allure to ensure that the windows and sliding doors are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. I’ve chosen a model called Astro, which has a thinner bezel and a more affordable price point. It’s all about finding that perfect balance between quality and cost.

Selection of Flooring Materials

When it comes to flooring, there are a lot of factors to consider, especially in a tropical climate like Bali. I’ve chosen to use Ulin, also known as Ironwood, for the majority of the surface area. This wood is incredibly durable and can withstand the humidity, rain, and termites that are common in this region. What’s even better is that the Ulin we are using is recycled. It has been repurposed from old docks and construction projects, giving it a second life. Not only does this contribute to the environmental sustainability of the project, but it also adds a unique story to the villa.

Creation of Outdoor Terraces

One of the features I’m most excited about is the creation of outdoor terraces. These spaces will allow for outdoor living and dining, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape. We’re carefully designing these terraces to blend seamlessly with the natural environment, using materials that complement the beauty of Bali.

Pool and Hot Tub Area

No dream villa is complete without a pool and hot tub area. We’re creating a beautiful oasis where you can relax and soak up the sun. The pool will be surrounded by lush greenery, creating a tranquil and private space for ultimate relaxation. This is where you can truly experience the beauty of Bali.

Unique Room Designs and Features

Each room in the villa will have its own unique design and features. From the master bedroom to the kitchen to the bathrooms, every detail is carefully considered. I want each space to have its own personality while still maintaining a cohesive overall design. There will be surprises around every corner, and I can’t wait for you to see them all.

Focus on Environmental Sustainability

Environmental sustainability is a key focus of this project. We’re using recycled materials whenever possible, like the Ulin flooring I mentioned earlier. We’re also preserving as many trees as we can and incorporating them into the design. The goal is to have a villa that not only blends in with the natural surroundings but also respects and protects the environment.

Challenges Faced

Like any construction project, we’ve faced our fair share of challenges along the way. The rainy season in Bali can be particularly difficult, as it can slow down progress and require careful planning and decision-making. However, we’ve managed to overcome these challenges and keep the project moving forward. It’s all part of the journey, and I’m grateful for the lessons learned along the way.

Consideration of Additional Features

As we reach the halfway point of construction, I’m starting to consider additional features for the villa. Some ideas include a treetop experience, where you can open your blinds and be surrounded by the lush greenery of the trees. I’m also considering a spa and recovery center, as well as a Zen courtyard garden or Tulum-inspired beachscape. These are just a few of the possibilities, and I’m excited to explore them further.

That’s it for this progress update! I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into the construction of my dream villa in Bali. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments. Remember, if I can build my dream villa, you can too!
