Stay at a penthouse in Kuala Lumpur
After arriving at the Kuala Lumpur airport, we met up and made our way to our accommodation – a double deluxe penthouse that we scored for about $80 a night. It was a steal for the beautiful space we had. The penthouse had an amazing workspace, but with our packed travel itinerary, we didn’t have much time to use it. We were exhausted from our long journeys, but we were excited to start exploring the city the next day.

Sky Mirror is only accessible for two days of the month due to the lunar tides, and we missed out on the opportunity to visit.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the iconic Petronas Towers. These towers were the tallest buildings in the world in 2004 and are still the world’s tallest twin towers. The architecture and design of the towers were absolutely stunning. We were in awe of their grandeur and beauty.

Unfortunately, there was a two-hour wait to go up to the top of the towers. However, we decided to come back later in the day to take in the breathtaking view. The cost was well worth it for the experience of seeing Kuala Lumpur from such heights.
